Environmental Management System ISO 14001: 2015

The ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized standard for environmental management by companies. It provides instructions and required checkpoints to be applied to activities that affect the environment. Such activities are those such as the use of natural resources, management and disposal of waste and energy consumption. Such standard may be applied to any type of activity and to any size organization as each company has a small/large impact on the environment in which it operates. Considering the need for overall contribution to environmental protection and the prevention of pollution, the implementation of an Environmental Management System is necessary.

Just some of the benefits of implementing an environmental management system are:

  • Possibility to reduce the production costs of products/ and services, due, for example to the rational management of natural resources and energy savings.
  • Establishment of trustful relationship between the Company and the local authorities, which helps in more expeditious request approving procedures of the Undertaking.
  • Prevention of environmentalaccidents
